Homework, News, and Announcements

Updates from the current day are always in yellow highlights.


Language:

-Reading:

-Answer 3 response questions for Chapter 8 of The Jigsaw Puzzle King.
-Week 1 day 1 - Come up with a working definition of the two Morphemes words  from the "Student Booklet" (we did the first one together in class).
-Take Boxes and Bullets notes for your assigned Article from the Reading Google Classroom.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Research Reports now due.


-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:
-Representing, Comparing, and Ordering Decimals assessment now complete.
-Divisibility Rules Quiz completed. 

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

- Electricity Task #2 now due. Please submit to the Science Google Classroom if you haven't already.


Social Studies:
-Residential Schools Lesson. Answer the questions on the task that were posted on the Social Studies Google Classroom. Due on March 18th.


Visual Arts:
-Began Picasso Cubism Art.
-Lunar New Year Art now complete.


Health:
-Completed lesson about Healthy Relationships. Notes are on the Health Google Classroom.


Drama/Dance:
-Pick a favourite dance video and respond to it. See Google Classroom slideshow.
