Language:

-Reading:

-Write a response by looking at To Hope and Back through a certain lens. See Google Classroom notes. Answer the 8th section (pages 139-152) questions of "To Hope and Back." See Google Classroom.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Start revising your essays using the resources on the Writing Google Classroom. Due for submitting on Monday June 1st. 
-Morpheme work. Complete Week 6 Day 4. See Google Classroom post.


-Media Literacy:
-The "Who is Creating this message?" Media Literacy task is now due.


Math:
-Measurement Lesson #2 Action Task and Your Turn Questions. See Google Classroom. 
-Next quiz will be for /9. See Divisibility rules reference sheet. 

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Flight Lesson #3 worked on. Will be due on Friday, May 29th. 


Social Studies:
-Canada's Interactions with the Global Community Journal Assignment #2 ongoing. 3 entries a week.


Visual Arts:
-Graffiti Art and Pablo Picasso inspired art now due.

Health:

-Complete A to Z Personal Safety "Alpha Box" and "R.A.F.T." Activity (Student Resource #5). See Health Google Classroom. 


Drama/Dance:
-The Elements of Drama and exploring the relationships between Protagonists and Antagonists worked on. Will continue next week.
