Have a safe and happy summer!

 To all the students and the families that were a part of this year's 2024-2025 classroom community, I wish you all the best in the summer and I look forward to visits near year as you progress in your educational career in Grade 7!

Homework, News, and Announcements

Updates from the current day are always in yellow highlights.


Language:

-Reading:

-Finished reading the novel The Children of Willesden Lane. Please finish reading any parts you may have missed.
-Morphemes complete.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Poems now and currently being presented. 


-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:
-Location and Movement Unit complete. Work through any questions from the Action Task and Your Turn Questions from Lesson #1 and #3 of our unit on Percents. Finish enough of the questions so that you have an understanding of the concepts. 
-Divisibility rules quiz for 6 and 7 on Wednesday (see reference sheet on Google Classroom if you lost yours). 
-Here are some math resources to explore for extra support:
